RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Diploma in Radiology Technician
Duration: 1 Year
(6 Months Theory & Practical + 6 Months On-Job Training)

Course Summary:
This diploma program offers comprehensive training in medical imaging technology, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and principles of radiation safety. The curriculum covers theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for operating radiology equipment, patient positioning, image processing, and radiation protection protocols. Students learn to assist radiologists and technicians in diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining patient care and safety.

 

The second half of the program involves six months of on-job training in radiology departments, providing hands-on experience with imaging machinery and exposure to real-Industrial clinical settings under expert supervision. Graduates are prepared to work as skilled radiology technicians in hospitals, diagnostic labs, and imaging centers.
