Course Summary:
The 1-year ANM diploma offers foundational training for roles in nursing and community health. The program provides six months of classroom instruction and basic practicals in core areas such as community health nursing, health promotion, primary care, child health, and basic midwifery skills. Students learn about specimen collection, infection control, nutrition, first aid, and maternal-child healthcare, ensuring a strong grounding in nursing fundamentals.
This is followed by six months of on-job training in hospitals or community health centers, where students gain hands-on experience working under the supervision of registered nurses and midwives.
